NEW COURSE SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

TABALA Research Institute has closely been monitoring news and recommendations from the CDC   and the World Health Organization regarding COVIO-19.  Although we hoped to continue class, the health and wellness of our community is our first priority.  For these reasons our board members have decided to cancel our remaining Saturday classes for the month of March. We will continue to monitor this public health crisis and determine our April class schedule at a later date.
We would like to thank you for your continued support.

Why do we Fall?...

So that we can get back up!

We practice Break Falls at the TABALA Research Institute in order to develop Resilience! It's important to know that sometimes in life we fall.  What makes the difference is how and when we get back up...because we must say that it is NOT over!

Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu has Drunken Forms which make the practitioner appear to be off balance, relaxed and in all most drunken like yet deceptive state. The falls, feints, dives, and recovery are signature forms within these forms.  We do NOT advocate alcohol.  We drink plenty of Herbal Tea and Water instead! and we Practice Day and Night mastering skills arriving at a State of "Drunken Ease"

In Learning how to…

  • Perform a Yoga Asana

  • Prepare a wholesome and healthy meal

  • Maintain a productive relationship

  • Perfect and apply a Martial Arts Form

  • Master a Dance Step

  • Clean, sanitize, sterilize, and disinfect oneself or ones environment

  • Restore a damaged muscle group or body alignment

  • Improve one’s health

  • Protect oneself in a street self defense encounter

  • Apply the Engineering Design Process

Or even solve a mathematical or algebraic expression, equation or geometric figure …

There is an Order of Operation in which “Priorities” should be of concern first and foremost.  Pin point deliberation, care, and a strategic following thru are essential to rid and solve the problem at hand as well as to nurture the individual toward a state of illumination.

In achieving academic progress one must as well

  • Determine and exercise one’s learning style

  • Use due diligence in developing a routine of study, time, place, and activity

  • Practice solving the problem as often as possible, during convenient as well as inconvenient times

  • Realize that little steps in the right direction yields better results than big moves of desperation

  • Not get discouraged with failure, but instead have faith that you will achieve your goal(s) in God’s time

  • Not procrastinate, but instead start early enough so that you start solving the seed rather than the fruit of the problem

  • Realize that every problem solution has an essential basis or unit of success which needs to be the point of focus

THINK YOU CAN!

Achieve your Goal

In order to solve any problem, be it academic, self defense, or life threatening, one must "believe" that one can succeed.  Yes I can!
